LION TL 308

International Standards:
AWS SFA 5.4 : E 308-16
JIS Z 3221     : D 308-16
DIN 8556      : E 19 9 R 26
EN 1600        : E 19 9 R 12

Application & Properties:
The weld metal of TL 308 is an austenite microstructure which contains limited delta ferrite. It is uitable for the welding of AISI-304, 304L steel, AISI-301 steel, and AISI-302 steel in all positions.

LION TL 308L

International Standards:
AWS SFA 5.4 : E 308L-16
JIS Z 3221     : D 308L-16
DIN 8556      : E 19 9 L R 26
EN 1600        : E 19 9 L R 12

Application & Properties:
TL 308L is a lime titania type electrode which has excellent usability and weldability. As its weld metal has extra low carbon austenitic structure, its intergranular corrosion resistibility is especially good than 308 type electrodes.

LION TL 316

International Standards:
AWS SFA 5.4 : E 316-16
JIS Z 3221     : D 316-16
DIN 8556      : E 19 12 2 R 26
EN 1600        : E 19 12 2 R 12

Application & Properties:
The weld metal of TL 316 contains proper quantity of ferrite inaustenitic structure. The corrosion resistance against sulfuric acid, phosphorous acid is excellent. It is suitable for chemical plants, AISI 316, 316L, and cladding stainless steel, and also be used for joining of different metals such as mild steel with stainless steel, and under laying before hard surfacing.

LION TL 316L

International Standards:
AWS SFA 5.4 : E 316L-16
JIS Z 3221     : D 316L-16
DIN 8556      : E 19 12 2 L R 26
EN 1600        : E 19 12 2 L R 12

Application & Properties:
TL 316L is a lime titania type stainless steel electrode, which gives an extra low carbon 19% – 13% – 2% Mo austenitic stainless deposited metal. As the carbon content is lower than 316 type, which usability in acid resistance, corrosion resistability and weldability are excellent. The electrode is used in various of chemical plants and other heavy duty apparatuses.

LION TL 309

International Standards:
AWS SFA 5.4 : E 309-16
JIS Z 3221     : D 309-16
DIN 8556      : E 23 12 R 26
EN 1600        : E 23 12 R 26

Application & Properties:
The weld metal of TL 309 contains more Cr & Ni than TL 308 / TL 308L. The microstructure containing suitable quantity of ferrite, gives it an excellent resistance to hot cracking. It is suitable for welding of dissimilar metals of mild steel and stainless steel, hardening alloy steel and steel with poor weldability.

LION TL 309L

International Standards:
AWS SFA 5.4 : E 309L-16
JIS Z 3221     : D 309L-16
DIN 8556      : E 23 12 L R 26
EN 1600        : E 23 12 L R 26

Application & Properties:
TL 309L is usually used for joining stainless steels to non alloy or low alloy steels. The corrosion resistance is important in surfacing and is dependent on the composition of the weld metal obtained. It is possible in practice to obtain full resistance to intergranular corrosion due to the low carbon content of the weld metal.

LION TL 312

International Standards:
AWS SFA 5.4 : E 312-16
JIS Z 3221     : D 312-16
EN 1600        : E 29 9 R 12

Application & Properties:
The weld metal of TL 312 is a stainless steel which contain more quantities of ferrite than TL 309 / TL 309L. Crack resistance is good. It is excellent for the welding of dissimilar metals, cladding steel and steels with high hardenability.

LION TL 317

International Standards:
AWS SFA 5.4 : E 317-16
JIS Z 3221     : D 317-16
EN 1600        : E 19 13 4 R 12

Application & Properties:
The weld metal of TL 317 contains proper quantity of ferrite in austenitic structure. Good corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid and organic acid can be obtained due its Mo content. It is suitable for welding of chemical vessels and AISI 317, 317L steel.
